(Head office: Kyoto, Japan; Representative Director: Akira Hatta) is pleased to announce that yottey, a scheduler application for dementia developed by the company, has officially participated in the FY2024 Orange Innovation Project of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This project is an initiative to reflect the views of people with dementia and their families and to realise a more symbiotic society in which they can live more comfortably.
The Orange Innovation Project is an initiative led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), which aims to develop products and services together based on the voices of people with dementia and mild cognitive impairment. By involving people with dementia in the development process, the project will create products that respond to real needs in the field and accelerate innovation for the benefit of society. YOTTEY is a scheduler application that helps people with dementia manage their daily schedules and support their independence in life. With the participation in this project, yottey will incorporate more feedback and make improvements to meet more diverse needs. Softdevices will continue to develop and improve its products through the project with the aim of creating a society in which people with dementia can live their lives in their own way.
